KEN DORAN, CPA

President and CEO

Ken presents insights from over thirty (30) years of experience in a variety of challenging operating and financial roles in the public accounting and healthcare sector. His experience ranges from organizational restructuring to managing organizations experiencing rapid start-up growth. Since 2001, Ken has managed Due Diligence through Final Net Working Capital (FNWC) Settlements on over one hundred and thirty (130) healthcare transactions. In addition, he has regularly served as the Interim CEO and CFO of healthcare clients. With more than two decades of senior management experience in key financial roles in operating companies, Ken possesses the broad technical, managerial, and strategic skill sets required to quickly assess and provide pivotal guidance in any managerial situation.

Will-Moore

WILL MOORE, CPA, CIRA, FHFMA

Partner

Will has over 25 years of experience working with hospitals and hospital systems primarily in the notfor- profit sector and is based in Austin, TX. He has an extensive background in hospital operations on the Chief Financial Officer level. As a senior executive of more than two dozen hospitals or hospital systems, Will has been involved with a wide variety of medical staffs and boards, often providing crisis management in the most difficult of circumstances. Through his broad exposure to issues of healthcare finance, he has developed a keen ability to quickly adapt, interpret, and assume the lead in management situations requiring strengths with financial operations, strategic assessment, financial modeling, systems development, and capital planning.

Mark has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry He brings with him an extensive executive background in providing senior management leadership in various healthcare organizations, financial restructuring along with merger and acquisition due diligence. Prior to joining SHP, Mark worked in various senior management positions within both for-proft and not-for-profit healthcare systems.

Mark is a seasoned healthcare executive with significant depth and breadth over his 28 year career. His background includes hospital ownership, executive physician practice service operations, outsourced revenue cycle company owner/operator, hospital board member, buy/sell negotiations on transactions, private debt raising, venture capital and bank financing. Mark has significant experience leading large multistate operations with teams as large as 4,500 members, For the past 20 years Mark has lead hospital operations. These operations range from rural hospitals to large integrated delivery networks. He has served as the leader of a 4,500-physician practice services team and interim CEO/CFO roles. Additionally, he has led the successful recruitment of replacement CEO’s & CFO’s. Mark has a proven track record strengthening working relationships with medical staff to improve financial and quality outcomes.

Tim is a Senior Advisor in Spectrum Health Partners. Based out of Ocala, Florida, he has over thirty-five (35) years of diverse leadership experience in healthcare administration, operations and finance. He has extensive experience with for-profit and non-profit hospitals, health systems and a large multi-specialty group practice leading organizations at the CEO, COO and CFO level.

Over the past fifteen years, Tim has directed hospitals as CEO ranging in size and complexity from a 60-bed start-up facility to a 744-bed tertiary referral center. While in these lead roles he improved financial operations and quality outcomes, expanded clinical services and market share.

Seth is a healthcare financial professional with over 30 years of experience in healthcare consulting and interim management based in Nashville, Tennessee. As a partner with a national consulting company, Seth’s track record in performance improvement engagements ranges from comprehensive turnarounds to projects focused on revenue cycle, physician realignment, organizational restructuring and labor productivity. His engagement list includes multiple large-scale operational improvement efforts, governance and management assessment, labor management, organizational restructuring, shared services improvement, and departmental process redesign.

He has been a key utility player in a wide range of performance improvement initiatives from the strategic executive perspective to the hands-on analysis and management of operational issues.

PHIL SHAW

Principal

Phil has over thirty (30) years of experience in healthcare finance and operations. His background includes hospital finance as an auditor for Blue Cross & Blue Shield, a reimbursement specialist for AMI/Tenet, and a hospital CFO.

The majority of Phil’s career has been in hospital operations as a Hospital President/CEO in the AMI/Tenet healthcare system. During the past ten years, he has served as interim President/CEO of various hospitals.

Phil has extensive experience with corporate structure, hospital boards, medical staff, community and employee relations. He has been involved in several strategic and financial turnaround situations.

Bud is a Principal with Spectrum Health Partners which is based in Franklin, Tennessee. He has over thirty years (30+) of diverse leadership experience in healthcare administration, operations and finance. Bud has extensive leadership experience with not-for-profit as well as for-profit hospitals and health systems, operating as the CEO, COO and CFO, with a proven track record of successful outcomes.

For the past thirteen (13) years, Bud has directed hospitals and health systems as the President and CEO with an array of critical needs in each facility. As a skilled communicator and analytical master, Bud has excelled at leading organizations to becoming innovative and strategic to achieve long-term success. The size of these organizations range from 190 to 520-beds.

BRENT V. WHITE

Brent has over 25 years of experience working in hospitals and hospital systems, primarily in the for-profit sector and is based in Nashville, TN. Brent is a seasoned healthcare CFO with significant operations experience. A skilled communicator who is astute and innovative, Brent utilizes a team-building, results-oriented management style. Brent possesses strong problem-solving skills. His approach also has produced a history of developing ACFO’s for promotion.

Prior to joining Spectrum Health Partners, Brent was employed by five publicly traded healthcare companies, and has consulted for three of those five, as well as two other publicly traded healthcare organizations. He has served both as permanent and interim CFO in facilities ranging from 64 beds to over 500 beds. Most recently, he served as a Division Vice President – Finance, overseeing a thirty-six (36) hospital division with $3.5B in annual revenue.

BARRY A. WOLFMAN

Principal

Barry brings over 30 years of experience in hospitals and healthcare management. He has led academic, faith based, for-profit, and non-profit systems giving him a unique insight and perspective. Barry has worked in major metropolitan cities as well as suburban and rural communities. He has run academic medical centers, been the leader for 2 Kaiser Permanente (“KP”) markets with responsibility for over 500,000 lives in each market, and served as a Regional executive over numerous hospitals. He has been involved in complex strategic management, hospital design and construction and has a deep passion for building physician relationships, mentoring future leaders and creating a cohesive team by engaging and collaborating with colleagues and competitors.

A proven track record of exceeding objectives (clinical and financial), and creating a strong culture of excellent employee engagement, physician and community relations. He has worked successfully in partnership with physicians, labor unions and operated in culturally diverse communities. Barry has been involved with resident and fellowship education at academic medical centers and children’s hospitals.
